At Bolna, we are looking for a Founding Engineer (Backend) with 2-5 years of hands-on experience to join us. We expect the candidate to take complete ownership of backend and infrastructure projects, and help in building and scaling our venture backed Voice AI startup!

You will be a Founder of Bolna. Your tasks and responsibilities will be alike to that of the Founders. Only if this excites you, read on!

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable solutions and deliver features for a Voice AI Platform that's already in production.
• Take the ownership on backend and infrastructure projects.
• Take lead of designers and engineers throughout the product, design and implementation stages.
• Offer technical support, customer success assistance, and implementation advice directly to our clients.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Tier 1 College, having pursued at least a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering (or analogous branches)
• Over 2 years of experience in backend software development and system design.
• Proficient in asyncio Python, with expertise in at least one Python web framework (preferably FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and multiprocessing in Python.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, driven by responsibility and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, learning and adapting quickly to new challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to commit to decisions, even in the face of differing opinions.
• Experience having worked in a young startup is preferred
